Common questions
What is passive fire protection?
Passive fire protection is built into the structure of a building. It includes fire doors, fire-resisting walls and floors, fire stopping, cavity barriers and fire barriers. Together they contain fire and smoke, protect escape routes and give people time to get out safely.
Is your site survey really free?
Yes. We will visit your building, inspect the existing passive fire protection and give you an itemised quotation with no obligation to go ahead.
Do you provide documentation when the work is finished?
Yes. Every installed item is photographed and recorded with its location, the products used and the relevant certificates, so you have clear evidence of compliance for building control, insurers and your fire risk assessor.
Can you work in occupied buildings?
Yes. Much of our work is in buildings that stay open, such as schools, health centres and offices. We plan around the people using the building and can work out of hours where needed.
Which areas do you cover?
We work on sites across the UK. Get in touch with details of your project and location and we will arrange a survey.
